Project Brief
In partnership with Wilson, I was tasked with designing the US OPEN shirts for the 2014 US OPEN to be held in New York. The first design combined the NYC skyline with a standard tennis ball to create a a nice splatter effect from a distance. But upon closer inspection you see the skyline. On the next shirt I played around with negative space and reverse type to create a simple straight forward US OPEN branded shirt. The designs were selected and sold as limited release shirts at the US OPEN store.
